I am not one to pose you into something that makes you uncomfortable. I’m more about motion, and what’s real. I love the unposed, messy, blurry photos that seem to be fleeting and just feel real. The in between moments is where the magic happens. I am of course here to lead you and guide you into a natural flow of posing, but we won’t be doing any strict posing or having someone direct us. 

I am big on trusting the process. I love that you have a pinterest board and reels for me to see, but I would rather you trust my artistic vision and us make something that is uniquely yours. Of course you can show me your ideas and inspiration, but let’s try not to mimic or copy anything if we can help it. I am still an artist, and love to express myself making your photos one of a kind. 

I am in it for the untraditional things. Don’t want a cake cutting, awesome! Don’t want to throw a garter? Even better. I love when my couples are unapologetically themselves. That is how it should be! You deserve to do whatever you want. I am heartbroken when I hear a bride only did something to please somebody else.. Or didn’t get to do what they really wanted because of what someone else thought.. It’s YOUR day, make it what you want it to be! The options are endless, and it’s time to start thinking outside the box when it comes to weddings. Let’s get weird, and embrace the differen’t! 

Your photographs are what will remain over everything else at the end of the day. Not the decorations, the seating chart, or music choices. Having tangible memories to remember one of// if not the most important day in your life is priceless. Your photos only gain value in time when they move past generations. 
Your photographer should not just be a check box on your list and if you’re just looking for a deal– then I’m probably not the photographer for you. And that is totally okay! You deserve someone who fits all your needs, and your budget. Photos last a lifetime, and I cherish the couples I work with who believe in the value of their memories. 

When it comes to photographing and editing, each day is different and I shoot according to the vibe and feel of the day. I want to make sure the images are telling a story of how the day actually felt, while reflecting who my couples are. My editing style is reflective of what you see on my socials and site, however you may see changes to each session that are reflective of the day such as how the weather was, if I felt a moment should be told in a way that creates intentional blur, or a portrait with a tight crop to showcase hands being held or the way you two are looking at each other in a moment that felt right out of a movie still. I value quality over quantity, so we are creating the best story and images you’ll value forever. 

I’m always just an email/text away for you. I love to help when it comes to planning questions, if you need a recommendation or just an opinion on a color. I’m here for ya, no matter what to the best I can be. You’re likely doing all of this for the first time and it’s a lot! I have shot dozens of weddings and know what to look for, helpful tips and tricks. I also send over a very helpful guide to look over and learn from. While I’m here for you, please also respect that I have my own family too so any text that are sent at a time away from working hours will be responded to at a time that I’m able to answer and be responsive.
