Nothing says paradise like tying the knot in Hawaii! But with an abundance of choices from which island you want to say your “I do’s” on to which venue is the best fit for you, it’s easy for your wedding planning to feel overwhelming. So let me make it easy for you – consider a Kualoa Ranch wedding!
Kualoa Ranch and the Kualoa Ranch wedding venue sites are arguably some of the most unique and beautiful options for an authentic Hawaiian wedding experience.
Your Kualoa Ranch wedding will be nothing short of epic, especially considering the variety when it comes to incredible views, unique cuisine, and fabulous amenities.
Kualoa Ranch is certainly gorgeous, and while you may not have heard of it until recently, you’ve likely seen it before. That’s because this private nature reserve and working cattle ranch is a very popular filming location, most notably for a number of Jurassic Park films that were shot in what is now known as Jurassic Valley.
Hollywood credits aside, Kualoa Ranch has a natural charm with sprawling mountain vistas, lush green landscapes, adorable open-air cottages, and an amazing farm-to-table dining experience (all locally grown on-site). With a rich history and stunning panoramic views, it’s no wonder you would choose to host a Kualoa wedding!
Here’s a quick breakdown of what you should know:

If a smaller wedding is more your vibe, you can’t go wrong with a Kualoa Ranch elopement! Kualoa Ranch is especially ideal for those looking to slip away and say their “I do’s” in a more intimate setting, whether that means eloping just one on one with your partner or celebrating with your closest family and friends.
Best of all, you have options when it comes to which space to marry fits you best, though it can be difficult to choose between these two gorgeous possibilities!
Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch can host up to 200 guests and offers a variety of accommodations in the package including tables, chairs, an open-aired pavilion, two different lawns for reception options, an air-conditioned “get-ready room” and more!
Plus, your Kualoa Ranch wedding photos will be breathtaking at Paliku Gardens, as you’ll be able to get a variety of water views and exquisite mountain ranges as your backdrop (my personal fav).
Also spelled “Mōli’i”, Molii Gardens is a bit more costly than Paliku Gardens, but it can host more people with more amenities including an adorable open-air cottage (featured in a number of films and television shows) as well as a picturesque staircase perfect for photo ops.
To capture the most stunning photos you can of your special day, just remember that lighting is everything! The best time to shoot outdoors is usually an hour before sunset or an hour after sunset, also known as the golden hour.
Of course, you don’t want to get married in paradise without securing a destination wedding photographer. If you’re ready to say yes to a magical wedding or elopement here, get in touch. I can’t wait to help you make your dream wedding a reality!
